<p>S touto možností můžete řídit, zda by TreeSize měl kontrolovat každý soubor, zda je pouze hardlinkem na jiný soubor, nebo zda obsahuje alternativní datové proudy (ADS). To povede k přesnějším výsledkům pro přidělené místo, ale také zpomalí rychlost skenování.</p>

<h3>Sledovat připojovací body a externí symbolické odkazy na adresáře<a class="headerlink" href="#follow-mount-points-and-external-symbolic-links-to-directories" title="Link to this heading">¶</a></h3>
<p>Můžete se rozhodnout, zda by TreeSize měl sledovat symbolické odkazy a montážní body (viz Poznámky k NTFS pro další informace), které ukazují na jiné disky nebo složky na jiných discích. Odkazy, které ukazují uvnitř skenované složky, nebudou nikdy sledovány, aby se zabránilo kruhovým odkazům a aby se složky nepočítaly dvakrát.</p>

<p>Tato možnost zkontroluje pro každý soubor, který se nachází na serveru SharePoint, zda existuje jedna nebo více předchozích verzí tohoto souboru. Tyto předchozí verze zabírají další místo na serveru SharePoint, které je ve výchozím nastavení neviditelné. Pokud tuto možnost povolíte, TreeSize sečte velikosti předchozích verzí souboru a zahrne je do hodnoty „přiděleného místa“.</p>

<p>Použijte tuto možnost k rozhodnutí, zda by měl TreeSize zobrazovat chybová hlášení během skenování. Pokud například skenujete síťový disk na serveru Windows a nemáte přístup ke čtení všech složek, Windows zobrazí chybové hlášení pro každou neskenovatelnou složku. Pokud nechcete, aby byl proces skenování přerušen těmito dialogovými okny, zrušte zaškrtnutí tohoto políčka.</p>

<h3>Priorita vláken<a class="headerlink" href="#thread-priority" title="Link to this heading">¶</a></h3>
<p>Umožňuje definovat prioritu, s jakou vlákna skenující pevný disk běží. „Nečinné“ znamená, že CPU bude použito pouze v případě, že žádná jiná vlákna jej nepoužívají. „Nečinné“ je dobré nastavení, pokud chcete zajistit, že skenování pomocí TreeSize nebude mít vliv na výkon PC nebo serveru. Výchozí a doporučená hodnota je „nižší priorita“. Výběr vyšší priority způsobí, že vlákna skenování budou mít vyšší prioritu než vlákno uživatelského rozhraní, což může způsobit, že uživatelské rozhraní bude během skenování neodpovídající. Toto nastavení se také používá pro vlákna TreeSize File Search.</p>

<p>TreeSize automaticky přizpůsobuje počet vláken podle využití CPU. Tato možnost vám umožňuje definovat maximální počet vláken, která budou spuštěna pro skenování. Pokud je zátěž systému vysoká, může být spuštěno méně než maximální počet vláken.</p>
