<p>S to možnostjo lahko določite, ali naj TreeSize preveri vsako datoteko, če je le trda povezava na drugo datoteko ali če vsebuje alternativne podatkovne tokove (ADS). To bo omogočilo natančnejše rezultate za dodeljeni prostor, vendar bo tudi upočasnilo hitrost pregledovanja.</p>

Če na primer pregledujete omrežni disk v strežniku Windows in nimate dostopa za branje do vseh map, bo Windows prikazal sporočilo o napaki za vsako neberljivo mapo. Če ne želite, da postopek skeniranja prekinejo ta polja s sporočili, odstranite potrditveno polje.</p>

<p>Omogoča določitev prednosti, s katero se izvajajo niti, ki pregledujejo trdi disk. „Idle“ pomeni, da se procesor uporablja le, če ga ne uporablja nobena druga nit. „Idle“ je dobra nastavitev, če želite zagotoviti, da pregledovanje s programom TreeSize ne vpliva na zmogljivost računalnika ali strežnika. Privzeta in priporočena vrednost je „nižja prednost“. Če izberete višjo prioriteto, bodo imele niti skeniranja višjo prioriteto kot nit uporabniškega vmesnika, zaradi česar se lahko uporabniški vmesnik med skeniranjem ne odziva. Ta nastavitev se uporablja tudi za niti iskanja datotek TreeSize.</p>
