<p class="p_Normal">Funcția Snapshot din TreeSize oferă o imagine de ansamblu rapidă asupra evoluției utilizării spațiului pe disc pentru calea selectată. Un instantaneu poate fi descris ca o "fotografie" a stării spațiului de pe disc la un anumit moment. Acesta este creat în câteva secunde, iar Windows îl va șterge automat dacă spațiul pe care îl ocupă este necesar. Cantitatea de spațiu pe disc rezervată instantaneelor poate fi configurată cu ușurință prin intermediul TreeSize sau al configurării sistemului Windows (<a href="tools_menu.html" class="topiclink">Tools</a> > Configure Windows System Restore).</p>
<h2 class="p_Heading2"><span class="f_Heading2">Crearea unui instantaneu</span></h2>
<p class="p_Normal">Crearea de instantanee din TreeSize este acceptată numai pentru unități locale, nu și pentru unități de rețea. Trebuie să rulați TreeSize ca administrator pentru a putea crea instantanee.</p>
<p class="p_Normal">Pentru a crea un nou instantaneu, faceți clic pe butonul "Create snapshot" (Creare instantaneu) din fila"<a href="tools_menu.html" class="topiclink">Tools</a>" Ribbon (<a href="tools_menu.html" class="topiclink">Instrumente</a>). Crearea instantaneului poate dura un moment.</p>
<p class="p_Normal">Dacă funcția este dezactivată pe sistem, nu poate fi creat niciun instantaneu pentru nicio partiție locală. Verificați setările din mediul Windows prin Control Panel > System and Security > Computer Protection : trebuie să fie activată pentru partiția de sistem și pentru fiecare partiție pe care doriți să o utilizați cu funcția snapshot.</p>
<p class="p_Normal">Această caracteristică nu este acceptată în Windows XP.</p>
<h2 class="p_Heading2"><span class="f_Heading2">Comparație cu un instantaneu</span></h2>
<p class="p_Normal">Puteți compara o scanare curentă cu o scanare anterioară utilizând <a href="disk_usage_comparison.html#comparson_with_snapshot" class="topiclink">funcția de comparație</a>. Acest lucru vă oferă o prezentare detaliată a fiecărui dosar și fișier și a evoluției dimensiunii acestuia de la crearea instantaneului respectiv. Sunt acceptate nu numai sistemele Windows de la distanță, ci și sistemele non-Windows, cum ar fi sistemele de stocare de la NetApp și EMC.</p>
