<p>Po instalaci lze TreeSize spustit pomocí nabídky/obrazovky Start systému Windows nebo kontextové nabídky složky nebo disku. Toto jsou důležité prvky hlavního okna TreeSize:</p>

<li><p>Ribbon poskytuje přístup ke všem příkazům TreeSize. Je rozdělen do logických sekcí, jako je karta „Domů“, která obsahuje běžně používané funkce a prvky, nebo karta „Zobrazení“, která vám umožňuje přizpůsobit vzhled TreeSize. Barevná karta napravo je kontextově citlivá v závislosti na aktuálně aktivním zobrazení. Použijte „Vybrat adresář pro skenování“ k zahájení procesu skenování pro disk nebo složku.</p></li>
<li><p>Tato sekce obsahuje rozbalovací seznam, který vám umožňuje vybrat disk nebo složku, která má být skenována. Můžete zadat cesty přímo do ovládacího pole. Stiskněte enter nebo klikněte na tlačítko skenování napravo, abyste zahájili skenování pro zadanou cestu. TreeSize si zapamatuje nedávno použité cesty a přidá je do seznamu.</p></li>
<li><p>Adresářový strom skenované složky nebo disku poskytuje okamžitý přehled o velikosti každé složky.</p></li>
<li><p>Seznam disků poskytuje přehled všech místních a mapovaných síťových disků. Další síťové disky lze přidat pomocí kontextového menu. Dvojitým kliknutím na disk spustíte skenování v aplikaci TreeSize.</p></li>
<li><p>Tato sekce poskytne další informace o skenované cestě (např. její celkovou velikost a počet obsažených složek).</p></li>
<li><p>Sekce zobrazení obsahuje několik různých karet, z nichž každá poskytuje vysoce specializovaný pohled na aktuálně vybraný disk nebo složku. Jakmile je zobrazení aktivováno, odpovídající kontextová karta se stane aktivní, na které naleznete užitečné příkazy pro toto zobrazení.</p></li>
<li><p>Panel rychlého přístupu je přizpůsobitelná zkratka k mnoha užitečným funkcím aplikace TreeSize.</p></li>
<li><p>Vyhledávací pole „Možnost hledání“ (dostupné ve Windows 10 nebo novějších verzích) umožňuje snadno vyhledávat funkce a nastavení a přímo je spouštět nebo se k nim navigovat.</p></li>
